Santa lives in Kirgizia!! Or?

14 december 2007 The Kirgizians are searching for Santa´s shop everywhere in their country. What is the reason for that?one could ask. The Finns assure that Santa still lives in finnish Lapland and has always been.

History
,The background for the kirgizian frenzy is actually a Swedish joke. Some Swedish technicians working for the Swedish consultant bureau SWECO made some calculations just for fun. They came up with the solution that Santa must be living in Kirgizia, if he is going to hand out Christmas gifts to all children in the world, during Christmas. Kirgizia in central Asia is the optimal point if you consider, where the children live, demographic data and the earths rotation, according to the technicians calculations. Considering there are 2,5 billion families with nice children in the world, it gives Santa 34 micro seconds to park his sled, knock on the door and hand over his gifts and leave for the next stop. ,,The kirgizians has taken this seriously and are now looking for Santa´s shop all over Kirgizia. A handsome reward has been granted the person who finds Santa´s shop before December 20. The state tourist bureau in Kirgizia has for a long time been sure of the fact that Santa lives in their country. Now Swedish scientists has proved it, tourist worker Akbar Dzjigitov says to the TT news bureau. ,

,A never-ending discussion
,The Finns are somewhat disturbed of this. They claim that Santa still lives in Lapland, which he has always done. This kind of rumours comes up every year before Christmas, some fake Santa up in Rovaniemi in Lapland grunts to the finnish newspaper Hufvudstadsbladet. He says that people from all over the world are coming to Lapland every year just to visit Santa and his alfs. Lapland is the only place in the world where Santa lives and that should end this discussion for good!,
